  This is the phase of the project where we prepare drawings for use in bidding, obtaining a building permit, and for use by the selected contractor. The drawings are very detailed in nature, indicating how things go together, the materials to be used, and describing performance requirements for the contractor. Where applicable, the plans also cover structural, mechanical, electrical, and site engineering work. In addition to giving your contractor directions on how to carry out the work, the plans also serve as the basis of your contract with the builder. |
